Which city in Ontario has the highest annual auto insurance rates? Brampton! No other city even comes close. Insurance tip of the day:... Call your broker before moving so you have an idea of what your rates will look like. If you don't, you might move to Brampton and then figure out that your auto premium has doubled for the year. Always make the call!

Have you ever wondered what affects your auto insurance premium? Depending on which company you're with, the variables which affect your premium can go from about ten to thousands. Here are some of the most common and most important things which companies look at when giving you a quote: ... 1. Age and gender 2. Previous Claims 3. Tickets 4. Cost of replacing or fixing your vehicle 5. Your vehicle's safety rating 6. Where you live 7. How often you drive These factors make up the bulk of your premium. Before changing any of these things (eg. Moving to a new house), call your broker to see how the change will affect your rates. In the long run, you will have less headaches and more money in your pocket. Drive safe!

Car accidents are never fun but they happen. Don't be confused about what information you need to get from the other driver. Here is a list: 1. Insurance company... 2. Policy number 3. Year, make, model of the car 4. Driver's name, address, and phone number 5. Car owner's name, address and phone number This is the bare minimum. In general, the more information you have, the better. Photos of the damage are a great idea as well as names and phone numbers of witnesses. In a major accident, call the police right away. In a fender bender, the police are not required. With a minor accident, get all the information and call your broker as soon as possible. We will give you the best advice about how to go forward. If you have any questions about claims or accidents, just ask here!
