I was saddened to read the most recent question of the week in one weekly e-newsletter that is read among people in the dog fancy. It trashed the CKC (not unusual for this group), stating that nothing had been hear from the CKC about buying puppies, no media outreach, etc. Clearly the authors of the e-newsletter don’t read any news posts on the CKC website or indeed any emails that come from the organization to its members, which is disappointing and telling. The CKC staff have been working hard and have processed all registration applications for 2019 that don't have outstanding issues, and I believe the first 3 months of this year as well. They are in the midst of Q2 applications now. If you have an outstanding application from 2019 or the first few months of 2020 and are having issues, please contact me at [email protected] and we can work to resolve the problem. From what I have been contacted about so far, it seems most issues relate to an incorrect selection in the portal, a missing piece of information or similar problem that can be quickly sorted out.

If you are wondering if your certificate has been mailed to you by the CKC, shipping date will show under the beta version of the my orders screen. Once you have logged into the portal, under the myCKC menu on the upper left, click on my orders-beta.
