Before and after of a fireplace unit I just completed. The customer provided the 2" rough sawn boards that used to be floor joists in an old building. We repurposed them as a new mantel top to keep the rustic feel of the stone work she had done. Removed this old light restricting entry/storm door to replace it with a beautiful new black door to match the shutters. Replaced all the old carpet with a hand scraped 12mm hickory laminate floor. The strength and durability of the laminate will hold up well to the homeowners dog and the new baby this couple is expecting!
