Hope everyone is doing well back at school. Our Friday saddle club is doing well. Our students and staff are doing a great job with social distance and sanitizing. We want to continue on this positive note. Parents, if any of your children are showing any signs of illness please keep them home. So far we have all being happy and healthy! Let’s keep it that way! Your participation in respecting our protocol is very much appreciated. Thank you from all of us here.

We are excited to announce that our Friday night saddle club is on again! However due to current safety and health protocol we have some restrictions in place. Our numbers are limited for saddle club. We can not operate as a drop in so spots will need to be confirmed and paid before before Thursday It will be on first come first served basis unless you have paid for the month in advance. Our saddle club is a very popular club we know the kids missed it as we missed them as well. We thank you for your continued support and understanding and we ask that only students who can adhere to social distance guidelines and protocol attend. We work hard at keeping all of us safe.

As we get ready to welcome back some of our students we thank you once again for your patience and understanding We look forward to seeing you and we just want to take a moment to note some changes we have made to comply with recommendations for all our health and safety. Lessons for the time being will be either private or semi private Students should arrive no earlier than 10 minutes prior to lesson The horses and ponies will be tacked up by our staff. Tack will be sa...nitized before and after each lesson No more than one parent or guardian to attend with student. At the end of the lesson the horse or pony will be returned to the barn by staff Social distance rules will be in affect There is plenty of room here so let’s use it and keep our social distance No students are allowed in the barn at this time. No students in the pasture fields or the goat pen. If the student shows any signs of illness before coming to lesson please stay home. Together we will get through this. We know for the little ones how much they love to groom their ponies etc. We are working towards being able to safely resume those activities someday Right now we are grateful that we can get some of the students back in the saddle. Thank you all so much for your continued support. See more

Hello to everyone. We hope you are all doing well. The traditional May 24 was anything but traditional this year! As I’m sure you have also experienced, some days we don’t even know what day of the week it is! Just to bring you up to date on where we are at. We are able to go ahead with private and semi private lessons. Ciara is working on the schedule and we appreciate your patience. Our main priority will be to keep you all safe and our staff as well. ... We have been working extremely hard since March to keep all the horses and ponies healthy and ready for your return. It has been a stressful and worrying time for us here. However , we appreciate that all of you have had your own worries and personal experience throughout this time. We know the students are anxious to get back in the saddle and we are anxious as well ! Our students and your support has being what has carried us through this. Please be patient with us for another couple of days. Our saddle club and Saturday at the farm will have to be put on hold for now. At this time we will be offering lessons only to students who can ride independently. That is students who can walk, trot on their own without us ( the coaches ) having to have close contact with the students. We will be sterilizing any close contact tack between lessons. IE. reins saddles etc. I know some of the kids enjoyed their groom fests with their ponies but for now we ( the staff) will be groom the ponies. Don’t loose heart kids we will be happy when you can get back to grooming For now lessons will consist of us bringing the tacked up pony or horse to you and the focus will be on getting your riding skills back in place. Please contact the farm so we can start really soon with our lessons. If you could give us a couple of options of days and times you are available it would really help. We are working to keep you all as safe as we can. It has been a mountain for us to climb but we are determined to see you all again! I know that all our students are brave and sensible because that’s what horse riders are! We care about you so much and that is why we are making sure we do our best for you all. ! We are so close .... we are all in this together. Hang in there for a couple more days. Once again , thank you for all your support. Please contact the farm to set up lesson time. We will work long and hard to do our best to accommodate you all. Thank you for all the photos of excited little riders that we received. They warmed our hearts Parents .... google has us down as been permanently closed. We have sent repeated requests that they change that misleading status. If you could share our Facebook page we would appreciate that. Thank you all. Thank you so much All of us here at Claddagh stables. See more

Hello to all. Thank you all for all your support and well wishes. I am pleased to be able to tell you that we are able to resume some of our programs here at the farm that are in line with current health and safety guidelines We will be offering private and semi private lessons for now. Availability will be limited as we continue to safely navigate through these changing times. It is of upmost importance that we keep you our students and our staff safe and healthy W...e have had a lot of inquiries with kids anxious to get back in the saddle! If you feel comfortable with returning soon please contact the farm with a couple of options for days and times that you would be available so we can look to schedule lessons. At this time we will not be able to accommodate our Friday and Saturday programs We will be offering lessons private or semi private on Friday evenings and during the day Saturday. It is baby steps we are taking but we have all come this far and we should continue to remain safe and aware at this time. We are going over all the protocols and mandates and directives we have got We have been working towards this day and we know there are better days ahead. Thank you all so much for your continued support. We could not have got this far without you. We will have further updates tomorrow and go into more detail about how things will run. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. Our hearts are filled with gratitude for the support we have received. Thank you all so much. From all of us at Claddagh stables See more

Hi to all our friends and supporters. I hope you are all doing well.! As we gradually get used to our new normal we can start to look forward to being one step closer to having you all back. The horses and ponies and everyone here at the farm is doing well. We are busy making some improvements so we can offer you a safe fun farm in line with how life is today. We are putting in another outdoor riding area especially for our younger students and smaller ponies. We want t...o accommodate being outdoors as much as we can. We will also be adding some outdoor grooming areas that will allow for lots of space between our students. Also we are building some hand washing stations as well. Now that we are all in the habit of washing our hands and because it’s important we need to keep it up!! I know you guys are missing your friends and school and all the fun stuff. You have all been amazing. It is not easy to have to make huge life adjustments when you are little and young. So well done to you all We are super proud of you all! We are looking forward to seeing you. Dear parents, thank you for your continued support and good wishes. Please let us know if you are driving by and we can arrange to have a favourite pony or horse in the front field where you can safely pull over and visit at a distance. I know this time is tough on everyone. I have no words to express how much it meant to us when we received some financial support from you. Not only does your support enable to keep the horses and ponies fed and in good health but just knowing that you care enough about us here warmed our heart so much and it will never be forgotten. It is sincerely appreciated we can’t thank you enough. You are al always in our thoughts and prayers Rita , Ciara and Niamh. See more

To all our friends and supporters. I hope you are all doing well and staying safe and healthy. We are still missing you all and we know that you are also missing the farm and all your friends here. We have had some requests into the possibility of a visit with ponies etc. We are looking into any safe possibility of accommodating some requests. At the moment Ciara is trying to organize a drive by for some of our little ones to be able to give a wave to their pony buddies. ... You can call the farm phone for more info. We are thinking around lunch time Saturday we can take some of the ponies down to the front grass field so you see them. Please contact the farm if you are driving by so we can figure out a good time etc. Our days are long here as we continue to make improvements at the farm so that when we are open again it will be even better than before. We are in the process of redoing the outdoor sand ring and adding a smaller ring for the little ones. Lucky enough that was always in our plans before the pandemic and we had the materials purchased. The downside of that was that we didn’t foresee the situation we are in now. We would like to take the opportunity to thank all of you who have so generously donated towards the upkeep and good health of the horses and ponies. My daughters and I have always prided ourselves on being able to face adversity and get things done. We now find ourselves putting our pride in our pocket and asking for help. We absolutely know this is a difficult time for so many of you. We appreciate any help at all that we can get. Nothing is to small it all adds up and helps greatly. We want to be able and ready to reopen when it is safe to do so. We have to give our horses and ponies the care they deserve. The governing bodies of our sport have failed us both with support and direction We know that the difficult times we are in and we will continue to pray for the good health of all our friends. We thank you all so much for your support. See more
