For anyone whos interested we will be having a end of season meeting at the garden on October 14th at 7pm. We will talk about the season we had what was good, what was challenging and what we will be doing for next year. I want some input and ideas from everyone to make the garden the best it can be for next season and beyond!

Hi everyone, I just wanted to take some time to send out a huge thank you to everyone who helped make the garden successful this year. When I planned this project the world was a different place, one of the main goals of this garden is to bring people together and have somewhere to gather together, obliviously that's not the best idea these days:). However what I did see was alot of parents taking there kids to the garden and showing them around talking about what all the dif...ferent plants were and seeing the kids be interested is just awesome. This year was a learning year and learn we did, this is a multi year project and it will continue to "grow" the picture attached is to represent the boxes that will be added next year (side note if anyone has a drone and wants to take a directly over head picture I would really appreciate that). Last thing thank you to everyone who messaged me with kind words and thanks, if you have anything you would like to share from your experience at the garden this year please feel free to leave a comment and again HUGE thank you to everyone I am so excited for next year already:). PS. There are a bunch of green tomatoes still down there that are not going to ripen before frost hits go harvest them and let them ripen at your house I don't want to see them go to waste.

Cell phone was lost at the park today it was turned in to the RCMP in Grande Prairie if you lost it.

The peas at the garden are almost ready. (These are mine some purple flowers super cool!). And some strawberries may be ready too.

We have a gazebo at the garden now! It has been fitted with gutters, and there are barrels to collect water, so, as soon as it rains, we will have water for our plants. Thanks to the County of Grande Prairie No. 1 and Curry's Transport for moving the gazebo in today!

Yay!!! The rain watered our plants!

Maggie and Devin planted the pumpkin patch this morning. Watch your step, if you are there! The plants are still pretty small!
