Good evening skate families , We are officially closed down for the season as of today . We are hopeful we will be able to resume in January but of course that’s up in the air . For those of you that have not paid for your first session registration or gold cards please do so now . ... Depending on our reopening date we will be working on refunds or credits for those that have paid for the full season . Our apparel orders should be in by the end of the week . We will be in touch with those that will receive their free toque for selling extra gold cards . Thank you ! We are so thankful for our coaches , volunteers and arena staff for making this first half of the season possible . We also had a group of amazing parents that put together a skate club display for the Christmas cruise . Be sure to check it out this weekend or next . Merry Christmas everyone! We will see you in the new year .

Good morning! We have had confirmation from skate Canada of what our clubs restrictions will be with the new temporary restrictions. Unfortunately at this time we are not able to run our parent/tot or canskate program . We are hopeful that we will be able to resume in January . ... Our starskate will continue to run for the time being in a modified format . That information will be available soon . We decided at our board meeting last Monday that we will issue reimbursements or credits if we are shut down due to restrictions for 4 weeks or more of our scheduled programming. Any less would be an accounting nightmare for our volunteers. Due to these restrictions our Christmas simulation will be cancelled. Regarding Gold Card sales we will require payment for those who have yet to do so by December 7th . As this is part of your volunteer duties, your volunteer cheque will be cashed if payment has not been made . We are so saddened with the cancellations . Let’s all do our part of slowing the spread so we can get back to programming in the new year !

Skating is still happening tomorrow! We will be speaking with the town and the government of Alberta to apply for an exemption. It’s quite possible that it will be granted to our area although some of our arena rules will most likely have to change . Once we get confirmation we will be in touch . Hopefully by the end of the week . ... Fingers crossed !

Photos will be taken on November 16th and 18th for all skaters. Wear your favorite skating attire and bring a big smile! These will be used in the Claresholm Local Press and for Club publicity unless otherwise requested.
