From the NIH: "Apraxia of speech (AOS)...is a speech sound disorder. Someone with AOS has trouble saying what he or she wants to say correctly and consistently. AOS is a neurological disorder that affects the brain pathways involved in planning the sequence of movements involved in producing speech. The brain knows what it wants to say, but cannot properly plan and sequence the required speech sound movements."

(Posted this on my personal page by mistake! I'll get it right someday.) Day 1: Got here around 1:00 and it was already becoming dusk. A little foggy too so no real clear pics of the mountains but it pretty much resembles Switzerland!... Took a walk to the Northern (Walmart of the North) and spent $18 on a bag of chips, a yogurt and 3 bananas. Note to self: buy slippers ... as the washroom is down the hall about ten feet from my room @ Pangnirtung, Nunavut
