As our opening draws near we will do our best to keep everyone informed. Please see the following updated notice for opening. Dear Church Family, ... We are excited to share with you our plan to reopen Clarkes Beach Pentecostal Church on September 27 @ 10:30 am, one service only. While you will see many changes, we ask for your continued cooperation and patience as we navigate these unprecedented times. Please note that these plans are evolving, and are tentative and subject to change. In order to reopen, we need to adhere to the policies set out by The PAONL which are guided by the health authorities. As there is a capacity of 100 people, pre-registration is required. To register/confirm your attendance for Sunday Worship, please call the church office. This will help us set up our sanctuary for socially distanced seating, as all bubbles must keep the 6 foot distance. People in the same bubble are encouraged to sit together. Please advise us of your bubble when you call to register. We will ask for your name and contact information for Covid tracing as required by the Government of NL. On Sunday Morning we are required to complete the COVID self assessment before visiting: * Have you had any flu like symptoms? * Have you traveled outside the Atlantic Bubble in the past 14 days? * Have you been in close contact with confirmed cases of COVID? If you answered yes to any of the above questions, please refrain from coming to Worship. When entering the Church , please respect the 6 foot distance between you and the next person. You are required to wear a mask when entering, moving within and exiting the building. Please take direction from the ushers who will show you to your seat. When seated, masks may be removed. We ask that once you are seated you refrain from moving around and please note Handshaking and hugging are not permitted. If there is anything you need, our ushers will be glad to assist. Seating arrangements will be mapped, so we cannot guarantee a certain location in the Sanctuary. Children must stay with their parents or with someone in their Bubble. Children’s church and Nursery services are not available at this time. During Worship, singing will be PERMITTED when wearing a mask. Since passing objects is not permitted, there will be no Bibles or Song Books in the seats. Also collections will be received in the Box either when entering church or leaving. When the service is over we ask that people exit the building with their bubble while maintaining Social Distancing. We have enhanced cleaning and sanitizing throughout our building for your safety. According to the Government of NL, if you are 60 years or older, or have any underlying medical conditions, you might consider delaying your return to church at this time. We plan to continue to record our service each week and posting it the following Sunday, recognizing that not everyone will be comfortable returning for various reasons. We thank you for your patience, understanding and prayers. There is much to do to prepare for reopening. Registration for each service will take place Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am- 1:00 pm each week. To register your attendance, please call 786-7815.
