I’m grateful that they trusted me to share their story in this way and for trusting me with their garage door for my first mural. I enjoyed spending this week in Sunnyside, getting to know their neighbours and all the people passing by. Met some very interesting folks and appreciated all the kind and encouraging words tossed my way. Sounds strange, but I may have developed a strong emotional attachment to this door.
