St George's Voyageurs Walleye Classic Rules & Regulations for 2020 - 2 person team with heaviest 2 day bag tournament - Total live release tournament - Boat ins...pections begin @ 6:00am and run until 8:00am. We ask you to kindly open all compartments prior to inspection. - Fishing hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm and 8:15am to 4:15pm. According to flight time. All times are based on GPS. - Trickle start 2 flights: 8:00am, 8:15am - Please place your boat number on the left side of your boat - Boats taking off before being called will be disqualified. Boats missing their call must wait must wait until all boats in their flight have taken off before leaving. - All anglers must possess a Manitoba Fishing License or an Indian and Northern Affairs Canada Certificate of Indian Status. - All competitive fishing event participants must adhere to the Manitoba Fishery Regulations, 1987 and provincial and federal Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) regulations - Boundaries are in place and inspections will occur throughout both days of fishing. Please refer to the boundaries sheet for GPS coordinates. - Entries will continue to be received until Friday night of the event unless the maximum number of entries has been reached before that time. - Each team will be allowed to weigh up to 4 fish per day - All Sauger, Saugeye and Walleye are eligible to be weighed in - Only 2 fish over 70cm are allowed per boat per weekend - Only 2 fish between 55cm & 70cm per boat in possession at one time - All live bait must be dumped in the appropriate tub provided at the dock prior to leaving the boat launch - All boats must be equipped with live wells or coolers with aerators. - Tournament volunteers will conduct boat inspections at the stop of the hill prior to each boat entering the water and will flag and record each boat as completed. - Failure to have your boat recorded as inspected before taking off will result in disqualification. - Volunteers wil check for appropriate PFD's for each team member, ensure livewells are empty, contents of all boat compartments to be in accordance with tournament rules and properly affixed boat number on left side of boat. - No passing of items between boats during fishing hours - No fishermen will be allowed to go to shore, except at the boat launch dock in Pine Falls. - Boats must stay 15 feet apart during fishing hours. - No boat coming in late will be allowed to weigh in. - The fish tail will be pinched to the width of the official ruler used by the weighmaster. - Competitors are not permitted to consume alcohol directly before and during tournament hours. - Competitors are required to wear approved Personal Floatation Devices whenever the boat is on plane or travelling beyond trolling or drifting speed. - All care for the well-being of any/all fish caught during the tournament shall be of the utmost priority of each angler. The return of dead or stressed fish back into the water shall result in disqualification. - Scales open at 9:00am. If you catch your big fish at any time during the day, please bring it in to have it scaled so we can get it back into the water quickly. - Early weigh-ins will close at 3:15pm. Each team thereafter must wait until their weigh-in order tag number is called. - All fish will be measured with their backs away from the weighmaster. Mouth closed to the butt of the board with pinched tails. If the tail touches the 55cm line while being pinched, it will be deemed as an under. We will have the official ruler at registration Friday night for everyone to view. - The official ruler provided by tournament directors shall be the sole measuring device used to determine length at weigh-in. Teams may ensure that their own respective measuring devices correlate accurately with the official ruler of the tournament on Friday night or Saturday morning. - We ask you to please keep your fish in your live wells as long as possible at the dock. We will call you up when we are ready for you. - Dock volunteers will NOT be responsible for handling your fish unless stated by the captain of that boat and they are already in the tub. - Stressed fish will be deemed as any dish not swimming upright. There will be a 16oz (one pound) penalty for any stressed fish. - In the unlikely event that your fish is dropped or mishandled by the weighmaster, and deemed stressed, the team will NOT be penalized on their official weight. - Competitors who have been disqualified will not be entitled to a refund of their entry fee - No refund for cancellations one week before registration night (October 9th) All cases will be discussed and evaluated individually by the committee. - Protests of contravention of rules must be submitted directly to the tournament organizers accompanied with $200 cash before it is justified and result in a change in the final standings has been made. - The tournament director, weighmaster, promoters, sponsors, organisers, hosts, affiliated organizations, are not responsible for any or all death, injury, liability, fire, damage, theft or loss that may result prior, during or after the tournament however so caused. All competitors will have signed their entry acknowledging they have read and understood all rules associated with our tournament. - It is our striving goal of the Tournament Coordinators to organize a fair and sportsmanlike competitive event, in all cases the 'Spirit of the Rule' will apply. Hello to all anglers!! As everyone is aware Covid-19 has threw a curve ball into thing so we are changing a few ways to make our tournament happen safely and re...spectfully. - Registration will happen in the front lobby of the Papertown Motor Inn as you enter. Please follow signs to limit crowds as much as possible. - Boat numbers and a rules sheet will be distributed to you at the time of registration. (If you do not plan to show up Friday night, we will distribute your package to you at the top of the hill Saturday morning) - Once registered, you are welcome to participate in the Calcutta in the bar. We ask you to please respect all social distancing measures. - Dinner on Saturday evening will be broken down into 2 flights. Due to social distancing measures we are limiting the amount of anglers in at one time. If you are part of the first flight, you will be served a plated dinner at 6:00pm. If you are part of the second flight, you will be served dinner a plated dinner at 7:15pm. Please respect the Papertown Motor Inn's Covid-19 regulations. We have set our rules and regulations in place for our upcoming 2020 tournament and would like to share them digitally. Please bare with us while we get them uploaded for you to go over. We will be posting within a day or two.

Hi Everyone! We are very excited to announce that the Winnipeg River Greenback Championship is still on this year. Due to Covid-19 the following things have ch...anged: - Maximum of 50 boats - All entry forms will be signed online through docusign - Payments will be by etransfer to [email protected] or by cheque - The rules meeting will be held live on our facebook page on October 16th at 6pm (**ONE PERSON ON EVERY TEAM MUST JOIN**) - There will be no Calcutta or dinner - Awards will be held at Papertown Motor Inn on October 18th at 4:30pm Because all entry forms are signed online please send an email to [email protected] to have the docusign documents sent to you. Due to the recent challenges we are all facing, we are only allowing six customers at a time in the store. The car wash is operating as normal, with fuel being self serve. We also cannot wait to see some of our snowbird friends however we ask that you do NOT enter the store unless you have self isolated for a minimum of 14 days.
