Hey everyone! For those who didn't hear the announcement today, we are able to re-open as of tomorrow, Saturday Feb 27th! All safety protocols are in place as required by Dr. Fitzgerald. Masks must be worn at all times, Hand sanatizer must be used upon entering and all clients will be asked to answer a Covid screening questioner. We will also not be able to accommodate walk- ins unless you call before entering the building to do the Covid screening. Hey everyone, with the recent developments in St John's reqarding Covid 19, we respectfully ask that if you have travelled to St. John's in the past two weeks or are a close contact to someone who has, that you please call the salon and allow us to reschedule your appointment. This is round two of difficult times and hopefully by each of us doing our part we can prevent any further disruption in our day to day lives. Also please keep in mind the protocols that are in place when you visit the salon. Hand sanitizing, masks, and social distancing is to be practiced at all times. We are happy to announce that as directed by our provincial government, we can re-open as of June 8th. We will start the process of booking appointments while f...ollowing the COVID 19 prevention guidelines. We ask our clients to abide by the directives: if you are feeling unwell (fever, cough, sore throat, muscle aches, runny nose etc) avoid booking an appointment at this time or cancel the booked appointment. Practice physical distancing from other clients and staff. Practice proper hygiene (sanitize hands upon entering clinic, cover coughs and sneezes) Show up for your appointment alone. According to government guidelines we anticipate reopening on June 8th! Our hair stylists Lorraine and Glenda are preparing appointments. If you would like to pre-book an appointment, you can contact Lorraine @ 630-7374 or Glenda @ 686-5456.

The following is a list of practices we need to follow once we re-open: Hair Services sector of beauty industry protocol upon reopening: -Screen clients before entry via online self-assessment... -Client required to hand wash and or sanitize upon entering -Mask required by both stylist and client at all times -Social distancing between clients must happen, if not possible, barriers implemented -Beverages, food, magazines, and all other commonly touched items to be removed -Retail to be by stylist only, no touching from clients -Do you not reuse client capes and/or towels -Maximum of two clients per stylist if space allows -Coworkers not required to social distance when wearing appropriate PPE -Anything not able to be properly disinfected must be disposed of -Limit waxings to eyebrows or around the mask only -Combs, brushes, scissors, clippers, etc. must be properly disinfected (submerged for 10 minutes in appropriate cleaner and rinsed) -All surfaces touched by client to be disinfected before new client can come in contact -No waiting area or walk-ins . Call or text clients(hair Stylist), hair stylist ( clients) to allow for appropriate disinfection) - if you are early for your appointment you must wait in your vehicle. It would be best to call your stylist to see if there are any delays. -Stylists’ own hair to be tied back, clothes covered -Barbicide mixed fresh every day. These are mandatory regulations and we ask your co-operation in helping us with a sucessful opening. If you have a mask please being it to your appointment. We have a very limited supply of disposable but will have some homemade ones available for sale at the salon (made by a local seamstress). We ask that you please inform us if you have any concerns during your visit.
