I betcha the ol' Central parking lot is a huge tourist attraction for seagulls around the world. The day after we were shooting off about feeding these screaming garburators Angela MacDonald spotted (for only the second time in Canada) a rare Taimyr gull, which is typically found in Siberia and eastern Asia. For months you were probably feeding this rare gull popcorn chicken and bag fries without even realizing eh? I think that parking lot needs it's own heritage minute.

Citizen Z - Yesterday the Federal government announced that all travelers who are looking to come to Canada will soon need to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test before arriving in the country. The test must be done 72 hours prior to boarding the plane. These travelers will still have to self-isolate alone for 14 days upon arrival in Canada.... There's a tanker on it's side between exits 17 & 18 on the 104 heading towards New Glasgow. Please be cautious when driving through that area this morning as there is black ice all over the roads. Marshy Hope & Mt. Thom are pretty bad right now but as more people wake up and the rubber hits the road the better it's going to get. ... We're Nova Scotians eh, black ice isn't anything new so slow er' down and give people space on the commute this morning.

NEW GLASGOW POLICE AND RCMP MAKE CHILD PORNOGRAPHY ARREST IN TRENTON A 24-year-old man has been arrested on two counts of possession of child pornography and two counts of making it available after a combined police raid on a home in Trenton. Police showed up at the Grandview Avenue location yesterday morning after a 10-month investigation. ... The suspect has been released on strict conditions and is slated to appear in Pictou court at a later date.

Nova Scotia Power is reporting an outage affecting a little over 2,600 customers in the area stretching from Trenton to almost Arisaig. Cause of the outage is still under investigation.
