Hey everyone, Amanda here... An update on nose and mouth piercings: Ever since the new cases were announced on PEI last week, I've been trying to find a way to go about this, and then with Dr Morrison's update yesterday with her stance of strengthening her recommendations on mask wearing in any indoor public spaces, and we do require them to be worn in studio since we can't do physical distancing to perform our services, I had to make a very difficult decision...... We (Al and I) feel it is for everyone's safety, including ours, that we temporarily suspend nose and mouth piercings (inc.nose and mouth jewelry changes) for the time being. This was not an easy decision to make, as nostril piercings are one of my favorites to do and also my most popular piercing to do, but we feel it would be irresponsible of us to perform these piercings when there are active cases on the island. Its not going to be a permanent thing, just not while we have active cases. Health and safety of our clients (and ours) has always been one of our main priorities in the 20 years we've been at this and thsts not going to change with covid-19. We sincerely apologize to everyone who was waiting to book an appt once we were to received our extra PPE order to do these. Could also be a good opportunity to try a different piercing you might've been thinking about! We thank you all for your support, patience and understanding ~Amanda

Hello everyone! Amanda here, *Piercing availability update!! I feel I am recovered enough from the vertigo to start easing back into piercing. I ask for your patience as I am still not fully recovered so I will be taking things slow with my bookings and need more time with each appointment as I get my groove figured out after 3 months off.... So I'm opening up my schedule to take appointments starting Tuesday July 7th. *All services are done by appointment only *A non refundable deposit of $40 is required upon booking (deposit is taken off final total at appt time) *Appointments are not secured/confirmed untilnthe deposit is processed *Piercing Prices have gone up. We use mostly all medical supplies to provide these services and they have all exponentially increased in price over the last couple months and we need to cover these extra expenses along with the extra PPE we are now required to wear *For nose and mouth piercings, clients still need to wear masks to come in, and I'll give instruction on when it can be removed for the service etc. *No group bookings, each must book individually with deposit *No friends or extra people permitted during the appointments, with the exception of a minor with parental consent, 1 parent is permitted to stay *As of June 26th, we are able to offer nose and mouth piercibgs again, but I am awaiting more PPE (full face shield) for myself for these piercings as it's my only form of protection, so probably another week before I take bookings for those *To book an appt, please message here or call the studio, deposits are paid via etransfer or credit card over the phone A huge thank you to everyone for your patience and cooperation as we work on a whole new way of operating during these strange times, we greatly appreciate it.

Hello everyone! Amanda here, after a long battle with severe vertigo for the last 6 weeks (still not out of the woods yet but getting there) I am back in studio, but not taking piercing appointments just yet, as I'm not fully recovered and need to ease back into things, but I am able to do jewelry changes/installations and retail sales. I'm writing this post to update everyone on the changes to the piercing services with our new operating restrictions we need to follow duent...o covid-19. All piercings, jewelry changes and retails sales are to be done by appointment only, and a $40 deposit is required for all piercing appts, deposits are done via etransfer to reduce in-studio traffic. The deposit does come off the final total when finished. I am currently not permitted to do any nose or mouth piercings under the new restrictions, hoping this will change in the future, but until I get notification from the health board, it will remain in place All clients are required to wear a mask to enter the studio and remain on during the entire appointment time, non medical masks are fine. No extra people can come to the appointment, client only with the exception of minors requiring parental consent (please send us a message here to get more detailed info) No group bookings, each has to be done individually. There is also pricing changes as all of our supply costs have greatly increased due to covid-19, and we are required to wear full ppe while with clients. The price list will be re-posted once all the changes are made, but feel free to message in the mean time with inquiries or to check on a price etc. When arriving for your appt, please message us or call from the parking lot to make sure we are ready for your arrival No open or takeout beverage containers, must be in a closable, sealing bottle All the other changes that were listed in our last post also apply to all piercing related appointments, I'll update this list as I can Thanks a bunch everyone for your patience during these changes, its a whole new way of operating for us too, but so far so good! *I'll be updating this post or making a new one as soon as I am better enough to start taking piercing appointments again (hoping for next week )

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT PLEASE READ CAREFULLY * Self-evaluation * - Are you experiencing any signs of COVID-19? -New or worsening cough.... -Stuffy nose. -Frequent headaches. -Sore throat. -Body aches. -Fever or chills. -Loss of smell or taste. -Red/purple/blue areas on your body. -or difficulty breathing. - Have you come in contact with anyone who has COVID-19? - Have you traveled outside of the province in the last 14 days? *** If yes to any please reschedule your appointment or do not book an appt until after 21 days of last symptoms. * What you will need. - A face mask must be worn when entering the studio and at all times while in the studio. - A large resealable bag to hold all of your personal items ( no extra bags or kit bags etc. - Must come alone ( only exception is parent with minor and parent must be wearing a mask as well). - If you must take a drink it has to be in a sealable bottle and you must take your garbage with you. -We will no longer be offering drinks and our sucker jar is retired. *Upon arrival -Show up no earlier than 10 minutes before your appt time. -Call from the parking lot to make sure its ok to enter because of our smaller front area to help assure proper client staggering. -Have your mask on. -We ask you to sanitize your hands. -The doors will be LOCKED and by appointment only for all tattooing, piercing, consultations, jewelry and aftercare sales. -No walk ins or drop ins. -We ask you to touch as little as possible once in the studio, please ask we will assist you. -payments can be made with card etransfer or correct change (no change will be given ). -Payments will be made in a way to maintain social distancing. **With all the extra costs in cleaners and PPE required to tattoo under these restrictions my minimum charge for tattooing will be going up to 1 hour($150). **There will be a $25 fee added to each appointment to help cover additional expenses. **Deposits will be going up to $60 from $40 to help ensure people show for their appointment. As always deposits come off of the final cost.

Ok so here are some long awaited details.... We are going to be opening on June 4th for tattoo appts only(piercing still to be determined) which means you can start booking your tattoo appointments now. When we do open, things are going to be quite different. A few of the main points are as follows... - There will be NO walk in services including tattoos, piercings, jewelry or aftercare sales, an appt is required and the doors will be kept locked.... - Clients must come to their appointment alone. - A non-medical mask must be worn at all times while in the studio. We will be putting more posts up throughout the day with more details regarding our services.... Thanks for understanding.

So with the latest news there is a potential chance of us opening June 1st ,it is still not confirmed yet .We have had contact with environmental health and will be getting more info in the next couple of days for ideas of what our new protocols will be. More info coming soon

So with the announcement today from Dr Heather Morrison from what we can figure out from their breakdown of ease back looks like it will be at least mid June if all goes well before we can open again. There is no actual date as of yet for us that's just the soonest we can hope for. As each ease back phase happens we will keep as updated as possible. Alrighty everyone, the most recent live update on the PEI government's page just announced that all salons and tattoo & piercing studios are to close, effective immediately. So it is with heavy hearts we are heading home for hopefully only a couple weeks. We'll keep updating here as we get updates We will be getting in touch with booked appts and also asking for those with appts booked to get in touch here and we'll start the process of getting rescheduling figured out.... Update: March 17th; In light of the current updates and events surrounding covid-19, we are operating on a "open for appts only" system, meaning we're temporar...ily closed to the public, if you don't have an appointment booked, we ask that you please refrain from coming in to the studio to help us reduce the amount of people in contact with one another, for the safety of our clients and ourselves during these strange circumstances. We ask that you please call or message us here first to set up an appt including jewellery purchases or jewellery changes etc. we're just taking it one day at a time right now and we will keep updating daily. Thank you and stay safe everyone. ************************************************ Saturday march 14th: We have decided to follow many other studios, and are implementing some precautions. Due to the potential Covid-19 outbreak, we ask that you please take special precautions when entering the studio to help prevent the spread, by using our hand sanitizer station often, starting with as soon as you enter, as well as washing your hands regularly. We are currently doing everything we can on our end to keep the studio sanitized, such as door handles, faucets etc. -If you are showing signs of ANY kind of illness, please, contact us asap to reschedule your appointment, (please call or email to do this, not in person if you are sick!) -If you have travelled anywhere out of province recently, especially outside of Canada or internationally, please reschedule your appt for at least 2 weeks later than the original scheduled date. -We are also requesting that you do not bring any friends with you to your appointment, we all work in very close quarters and want to reduce the risk to everyone as much as possible -If you are requiring parental consent for your appointment, and your parent is sick or feeling unwell of any sorts, Please call and reschedule your appt as your sick parent cannot come to the studio to sign the consent form. -If you are requiring parental consent for your appointment, and your parent is sick, Please call and reschedule your appt as your sick parent cannot come to the studio to sign the consent form. Here's a fun one from a few weeks back! daith and tragus combination, jewellery details are: Tragus: 16g stud w/ 4mm gem blue zircon gem disk, both are astmf-136 implant grade titanium, and both are anodized to a gold tone Daith: 14g Niobium captive bead ring anodized to a gold tone, 4mm blue zircon gem captive disk bead (could only find a matching gem bead for the ring in stainless so we couldn't anodized it gold tone to match the rest, but worked well anyways!)... Thanks!
