Really looking forward to this!
Clay Design Pottery supports the return of Gagetown Ferry and we will make sure our votes count towards that important goal on Monday 24 September, 2018. Please vote.
Looking forward to seeing everyone's beautiful work! And some shop talk!!
Important Art Part Two: My comment yesterday was not aimed at gallery owners. I was thinking about the difference between what we say and what we do. Art is of VITAL importance to society. Everyone involved in the arts industry says so.... Yet we market it on the same terms as used prom gowns. What gives?
David was wondering, if art is so important, why is it always sold in consignment shops?
Sharing from Save Gagetown Ferry: Tomorrow! Tomorrow!! It's only a day away . . . An important event is happening in the Village of Gagetown on Wednesday 5th September, 2018 Meet the Candidates at the Legion 81 Tilley Road at 7 PM.... All the candidates seeking your vote here in Queens County will be there to answer questions and provide information and details on just how they are going to bring back Gagetown Ferry if they are elected!!! Kidding . . . sort of . . . there are many important issues in this election, but the one this page is most concerned about is Gagetown Ferry. Many, many, many people have volunteered their time and energy to this fight for over 3 years now. We've all written letters and emails and signed the petition. We've tried to get answers from the Gallant liberal government regarding his decision to kill our ferry, and we've been ignored. Not only ignored, but given false information. We've published the facts (here they are again in case you missed them -- 2 JPGs attached) regarding Gagetown Ferry and Premier Gallant has had nothing to say. We organized a Public Rally at the Legislature in June 2016, and Premier Gallant snuck out the back, lacking the courage to come out and address us. Gagetown Ferry was a vital link to the success of this county. Please come to this event and stand up for Gagetown Ferry. And on 24 September, 2018, please vote for the candidate and PARTY which has promised to reinstate Gagetown Ferry. Thank you for your support! The Committee to Save Gagetown Ferry
At Clay Design Pottery, we have one Return Gagetown Ferry lawn sign (24"x24") left, which is looking for a new home, but Wilf Hiscock has lots at Charlotte's Family Orchard! Get 'em while you can and show the world that you support the Return of Gagetown Ferry!
David and I will be going and we urge you to too!
Wilf and Hugh again with their lovely wives Charlotte and Mary! Thank you for representing Gagetown Ferry at the High + Dry Fest!!
Clay Design Pottery supports the fight to restore Gagetown Ferry. The loss of this ferry has been devastating to the communities which flank the Lower Saint John River Valley. We urge you to please consider adding your voice to the growing initiative which is working hard to get this vital link restored. Write to Premier Gallant and his liberal administration. Write the media. Email addresses are posted on the SaveGagetownFerry facebook page. Demand the restoration of Gagetow...n Ferry. And make sure you VOTE in the upcoming September 24th, 2018 election!
Thank you for taking the time to visit us Ross Wetmore and to listen to some of our concerns for this beleagured province of New Brunswick.
