Last fall, BMS held public consultation sessions across the Beaver region regarding the proposal to transition to Claystone Waste, a municipally controlled corp...oration. We heard questions and concerns about the proposal. We believe residents deserve to have these questions and concerns addressed in a comprehensive and meaningful way. This is why BMS has released a ‘Response to Consultation’ report. It details what we heard and how we’ve responded to what the community had to say. We listened. Now we’ve acted. We had a fun Halloween themed week here at Beaver Municipal Solutions / Claystone Waste Ltd. Our staff was divided into teams and challenged with carving and decorating a pumpkin with the Claystone Waste theme. As you'll see, the creativity they came up within a short couple of days was awesome!

We have put a lot of thought behind the logo for Claystone Waste. Just like we've put a lot of thought behind the transition from Beaver Municipal Solutions to Claystone Waste and vision for a greener future!

Why change Beaver Municipal Solutions (BMS) to Claystone Waste? BMS is currently a regional service commission and, under Alberta law, regional services commissions are not intended to provide dividends back to member municipalities. However, municipally controlled corporations are.
