Hello Claytekies, As we are all aware by now, there are increasing concerns and challenges being felt throughout our communities as a result of Covid-19. Claytek is mindful as a community space and social environment, we too must take precautions and do what we can to limit our fellow potters risk while being at the studio. As such, Claytek is following Health Canada guidelines and implementing the following changes in the studio effective immediately.... Pot-Til-You-Drop to be on hold until future notice Communal towels will no longer be available - members are advised to bring your own. There will be a disinfectant bucket at the sink - please rinse all tools when cleaning up. As a general rule, we would ask members to be diligent in hand washing and disinfecting when entering the studio. Claytek will continue providing hand soap at all sinks and hand sanitizer (when available) will also be made available. A studio closure is not being considered at this time however, with public health warnings changing day by day, this may be required in the future. We remind all members to refer to Health Canada or other trusted sources for updates and information regarding Covid-19. We would like to thank all our members for their patience and understanding in our efforts to keep Claytek as safe and accessible as possible for everyone.
