Cleaning Tip of the Week: rugs/mats... the little lint collectors of your floors. If you don't want to wash them all the time, but want to remove the hairs (pet or human), the lint, and fluff them up when you are cleaning your floors, toss them into your dryer (it can be without heat!) for about 10 minutes. It helps them stay fluffy and clean looking in between washes. And keeps your floors cleaner. #CleanGreen #Strathroy #housecleaning

Cleaning Tip of the Week - for the dog owners: if you have a dog that sheds and it drives you bonkers, THIS IS THE GROOMING TOOL YOU'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR! Seriously! It can mean that your dog sheds less in between our visits, making it easier for us to make sure that we get all the stray hairs while cleaning your home for you. It also means less hair on your clothing, furniture, bedding, flooring, etc. One of our crew members uses it on her 170 pound puppy (yes, she's still growing :O ) and she swears that it makes her dog smell better (by pulling away all of those dead hairs and skin cells from her coat), have a shinier, healthier looking coat and stay cleaner for longer in between baths. Tip: put your sink stoppers into the dishwasher once a week when you're washing a load of dirty dishes. They are often overlooked when kitchens are cleaned and, as we know (because we clean them!), they can get yucky. This is a great, easy way to disinfect them and ensure that when you use them to plug your sinks they aren't transferring bacteria into your dishwater. :) #Strathroy #CleanGreen #housecleaning #cleaning #dishes
