The tornado and power outage in Ottawa was such an eye opener. We don’t realize how much of our day is dependant on the use of electricity, a simple task like making our kids dinner became a more difficult task that required some creativity we weren’t used to. While we got to play board games and search the house for candles and flashlights with our loved ones, there were many first responders and hydro one workers that left their loved ones sides to respond to the wreckage, ...ensure people’s safety, help clean up and worked around the clock (and still are) to make sure we got connected again. We want to give back to these hardworking people, by giving away some free cleans, I’m sure the last thing they need to do after all this is go home to clean.
