Clea will be facilitating Hospice Yukon's first online Poetry & Grief Workshop starting April 30th. All sessions will take place via Zoom and pre-registration is required.
As part of Mental Health Week, Clea will be facilitating a journaling workshop for Yukon College staff and students today at noon in room A2101. These prompt bags are available to workshop attendees.
Clea is interviewed by All Lit Up about loss, motherhood and wilderness: "I’ve lived in enough big cities to know that while I admire a lot about urban life, only wilderness can truly sustain me. I’m drawn to mountains, forests and rivers and I’m uncomfortable with the idea of human supremacy over nature. Human supremacy is driving unhealthy consumption patterns that hurt the environment. The wilderness brings me back to myself, quiets my mind, and grounds me in what I really... needto be mindful of mortality (the cycles of life) and to give and receive love as part of a community (an ecosystem). These are the things I’m writing about right now, so I guess this is the most fundamental way that wilderness informs my writing." https://alllitup.ca/Bl/2020/Read-the-Provinces-Clea-Roberts
