Tuesday Jan 12, 5-7 am, Clearwave is performing maintenance on the network in Spruce Grove and Helenslea areas. Service will be restored once completed.

This evening Clearwave suffered an extremely unusual failure in our core router which failed to send traffic to the internet. We have captured all logs and will be reviewing the cause but in the meantime services have been restored. Going forward, Clearwave has planned an upgrade for our core router for some time and are working on migrating to the new platform for some time now, but their remains significant work (or heavy lifting) to do for this migration and it is progres...sing as we speak and will continue for the next 3 months, with every week customers migrated over to the new router network we are deploying. While this is a lot of nerd talk, we have recognized what is needing to be done and working toward it. It is entirely possible that during our preparations we broke something and will be ever diligent in every aspect of our migration process. We apologize for the disruption.

Clearwave’s network is under an attack tonight from a foreign IP address. Currently we are working to mitigate this and restore service as soon as possible.

Clearwave Broadband is looking into a disruptive condition on our network at the moment, at this time we are still investigating the cause.

Our new tower site north of Spruce Grove lost connection on Saturday when wind blew the backhaul antennas out of alignment. We needed some pets and before we could return on Sunday the wind again knocked the site out. Now we have a stabilizing arm in place. Any other year we would wait until winds subsided but with people needing to stay home, we have to do repairs ASAP. The bad news is now we know we can do it so no more excuses.

We are seeing an outage affecting portions of Legal, different problem from last night but same as 2 weeks ago, affecting the Legal East tower. A tech is on his way investigating the power problem. Last time it restored itself as I passed Morinville so we could not figure out why actually failed, hopefully today we will source the problem out.

The outage has been restored, at this time of year some equipment pulls more power for heat and caused a radio power supply to fail, at least we have spares and this time was a quick fix.

We have noticed an outage affecting Legal, Vimy, Clyde, Lily Lake areas... we are investigating and dispatching technicians.

Good Morning, Clearwave has an outage in Northwest Edmonton due to a power outage. We are working in this identifying the source, no ETA yet.

Our tower site up on the Fifth Meridian servicing Villeneuve and surrounding area is down as we have lost line power from Fortis. A generator is being connected but will have a limited run time... bear with us during this service provider issue.

Clearwave is just finishing up repairs on the Legal, AB site, a Lot of damage incurred from last Tuesday’s lightning strike.....

We are currently investigating connectivity issues in the Big Lake / Helenslea area. We have no ETA currently but will have the issue resolved ASAP and will keep you updated from here.

A significant outage occurred yesterday at Legal AB affecting Legal, Alcomdale, Vimy, Clyde and Dapp. Services were partially restored to Legal and Alcomdale last night. Repairs continue this morning for the other areas.

Internet services between Clyde and Dapp are down at the moment as Firtisnis repairing a major power outage due to last nights storms.... expecting some news by 4pm we are hoping.....

Clearwave is noticing an outage out of our Capilano site, which also feeds or 50 St -Roper Road site in the SE. a technician has been dispatched, not sure yet if the issue.

Clearwave is investigating an issue in the network affecting a good part of our network, investigating the cause and will update as we know more.....
