If you are wondering if you can still order treats, the answer is YES! Now is such a great time to spend some extra time polishing up old skills as well as learning new skills. Our dogs know when we are feeling stressed and taking some time to help them to learn something new is a great way to alleviate any stress that they may be feeling.... Delivery is contactless You can send an ETransfer and then I can leave your order on your steps. All treats will now be packaged in plastic rather than paper. Stay well and healthy everyone!

Curious about which type of treat to use in which type of scenario? Youre not alone! Heres a bit of a break down-... Baked training treats are ideal for shaping behaviours, regular training reinforcement, fitness training, for use as a distraction etc. They are more of a medium value treat that should keep your dog working for you without getting them over the top excited, and because they are small, they are perfectly sized to use throughout your session. Baked treats are a step above kibble. Dehydrated Treats are more high value. You can use the liver or the jerkys as a training reward for every day training because they break down into smaller pieces. With the higher value rewards, you want to make sure that the dog is performing their task properly, and not offering a bunch of different behaviours because they are so excited about the treat. Some of the higher value dehydrated treats can be really great for agility training, because they toss and land well. Some of the dehydrated treats are more appropriate as a meal topper. An example of this would be the Green Lipped New Zealand Mussles. And then there are the dehydrated tendons and trachea- those offer great enrichment and I generally give all the dogs a chew during the day to give them a bit of extra work and something to enjoy. Hope that helps!
