Welcome to phase 1 of our Helmecken project. The cedar deck screen and planters were built to help solve an awkward pathway issue as well as to hide the neighbor's run-down shed. We used 5/4 cedar boards and custom milled the widths to create the horizontal slats in the screen. The planters were wrapped in the same cedar material and were lined with poly. Stay tuned for phase 2!

The long rectangle box is for a fireplace insert and the larger square box is built to fit a barbeque. Both are made from steel stud and Hardie board (non-combustable). These boxes will have a tiled finish

This shed's roof desperately needed replacing. Looks good!
