Reminder, please note on August 10 and 11 there will be parking lot closures at Grassi Lakes Day Use Area Parking Lot, Grassi Overflow Parking Lot, Grassi Climber’s Lot along Whiteman’s Pond and the Goat Creek/Ha Ling Trailhead Parking Lot. These closures are for survey work as part of the long needed upgrades to the signage, parking lots, and the construction of washroom buildings. Climbing is still accessible and permitted on these days, however you will need to access the areas by bike or foot. Parking on the Spray Lakes Road in these areas prohibited. *Update* Cougar Creek Canyon. The upper reach of Cougar Creek has been closed by Alberta Environment and Parks as part of the Town of Canmore flood mitigation project. The closure starts right at the trail head and extends about a kilometer. Signs at the trailhead make it pretty hard to miss. More information about the project can be seen on the Town of Canmore website: https://canmore.ca//mountain-creek-hazard-mi/cougar-creek
