On Friday the Government of New Brunswick declared Zone 1 (Moncton) has returned to the Orange phase. Massage Therapy services fall under Regulated Health Professions, so Myocare is still able to open. We are continuing to do thorough sanitization between each appointment and are wearing PPE to help reduce any spread. We continue to have separated entrances to help maintain physical distancing between patients. If you have an appointment booked, but do not feel this is an a...ppropriate time for you to come in, we fully understand and there will be no cancelation fees through the duration of this pandemic. We want to encourage everyone to make the best decisions for their own health and for the community. Please Contact 811 if you are experiencing any symptoms, and follow their direction. We will update you if things change and we are required to close, or if we feel closing the clinic is an appropriate course of action. It has officially been 10 years since Myocare Clinic opened its doors and the first patient was massaged. It has been 11 years since I first secured the business name/license, and started the process of opening my own business. Thank you to everyone who has continued to support the business and put your heath in our care.

Soon at Myocare we will be back to full hours. We will have two separate entrances and reception areas. When we contact you to do the Active Screening Questions we will tell you which entrance to go through (A or B). This way both therapists can work and continue to maintain social distancing between patients. ... The first week back at work went really well. Thank you all for the support and the continued trust.

For your next appointment you will notice things are a little different. We no longer have a waiting area and are currently scheduling things so only one patient is in the clinic at one time. When you enter there is a table with hand sanitizer (or you can use the sink to wash instead) and a disposable face mask for you to wear. ... We will be wearing a mask when you arrive as well. During the massage we will be wearing various personal protective equipment. (This will vary depending on how close we are to your face, but will always include the mask and either a lab coat or gown) It may look funny but this is required and is there to help us avoid any asymptomatic spread of SARS-CoV-2. We know that not everyone has a strong immune system, so we want to ensure all are able to get the treatment they need safely. Everything will be sanitized (door knobs, counters, chairs, etc...) between each appointment. So we ask that you come no earlier than 5 minutes before your appointment. We want everyone to feel safe in the knowledge that we are doing everything we can to keep you safe. Thank you for continuing to choose us.

We were surprised by today's announcement that we were moved to the second phase of reopening, from the previously announced third phase plan for our profession. We are still waiting for our shipment of protective gear to arrive. We should have enough of it by the end of next week, to reopen for the 18th of May. I am excited to see all the amazing people we treat again, but we want to make sure we have all the gear ready to make sure you are safe when you come for treatment....
