Clinton Minor Baseball

Clinton Minor Baseball has made the difficult decision last night to cancel the 2020 ball season. With restrictions still in place, the uncertainty of when restrictions will lift, insurance issues, strict protocol for ‘Return to Play’, and a shortened season, proper preparation for league play is not feasible. We lack the financial and human resources to properly and safely return to play at this time. Our treasurer will be reaching out to issue 100% refunds for those regist...ered. Should the restrictions ease up to a manageable level, we will proceed with training, skills development, and possibly some house league and exhibition baseball games, for those who choose to participate. We will continue to follow new developments from the governing authorizes and will work on a plan to possibly have some sort of return to the diamonds later on this summer for some fun. We don't know what this will look like yet so please be patient. We will miss our Mustangs! We look forward to seeing everyone in the near future.

Clinton Minor Baseball has received protocol from the OBA this week and will be reviewing to make a final decision on the 2020 season next week. Please be patient as these things take time. The safety of the players and coaches are the top priority. Any information we have for the families will be shared as soon as possible.

2020 Season Update Hello Clinton Mustang Families! We hope this message finds you healthy and safe. WOBA had a teleconference meeting and are hoping we can still have some sort of delayed start, condensed season, if allowed.... As of right now the estimated start date would be July 1st. Team declarations would be May 25th, and hoping diamonds would be open for practice in June. This is of course being optimistic and we all know things can change quickly. Online Registration will remain open until May 20th with no late fees. Coaches and Umpire Clinics are being hosted online. The baseball camp is in limbo due to travel restrictions. Again, this is simply an ESTIMATED timeline, the most recent update and to give you an idea of what the 2020 Season could look like if things start to subside.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our longtime member of Clinton Minor Baseball, Brad Thompson. Brad was greatly involved with the Clinton Mustangs for many years. His knowledge, coaching skills and dedication to the game and our organization will never be forgotten. We will miss you Brad.
