Happy Valentine's Day!

Our long time friend (June Beeney) is 80 years young today. And well.... it just wouldn’t be a birthday without a big sign that says just that, and of course a covid drive by.

The elevator at 917 Nippising is back up and running.

At CLNH, we support many adults in our Supported Independent Living (SIL) program. This unique program allows individuals to live as autonomously as possible. Our staff support these individuals with social and recreational activities, as well as building life skills such as: healthy living, budgeting, social networking, aid with medical concerns and nutrition and meal planning. The individuals in this program were extremely excited to receive the Christmas Dinners and Food ...Baskets which were sponsored through Woodbine Cares. This year has been quite difficult for everyone, especially those in developmental services. Under current restrictions, the individuals in our SIL program weren’t able to join their families this season. They were all very excited to receive the Christmas Dinner and Food baskets. This gesture made them feel special and lifted their spirits, as it was not something that they could have achieved on their own. We would like to thank Woodbine Cares for helping over 75 individuals enjoy a warm homemade Christmas Dinner as well as a basket of food to make this Christmas special and memorable for those that we support, in spite of the difficult times they find themselves in. A big thank you to Faith United Milton-Knitting and Crochet Group for the lovely hats they donated. These have been shared amongst our Residential and Supported Independent Living individuals.
