There are plenty of benefits to wooden wicks besides the beautiful rustic touch it adds to any decor. ______________ wooden wicks create a smooth crackling sound while burning, creating a calming ambience.... they are known for releasing fragrance quicker, as the wooden wick has a larger base and diffuses heat into the wax more rapidly. they do require more maintenance and need to be kept at 1/8 to reduce the chance of self extinguishing or dimming the flame.
