It was a busy month at Daycare! We learned all about bats, spiders and monsters! We made monster cupcakes, and bat cookies. The month ended with our Halloween Party which was so much fun! We all wore our costumes, danced and ate lots of treats. This month is all about all different types of transportation and then we will head deep into space!
We started our balloon popping countdown to Halloween and last week was all about pumpkins! We heard pumpkin stories, made paper pumpkins and baked our favourite pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. We loved pumpkin hammering, but our favourite activity was playing in our "Witch's Kitchen" house room. We are getting very excited as Halloween gets closer. This week is all about Monsters and bats!
Wishing all our families, past and present, a Happy Thanksgiving! We are thankful for all of you!
It has been so much fun at daycare these past week. We learned all aboutcrops and fruit that are harvested in the Fall . We counted, patterned and painted apples. After a taste test we made delicious applesauce. We talked about what we were thankful for and made turkeys and turkey hats. On Thursday with Teacher Kelly’s help we made cranberry sauce, stuffing and pumpkin tarts. On Friday we celebrated Thanksgiving with a turkey hot lunch that was so good! The Centre is beginning to look alot like Halloween is near! We are so excited because next week is all about pumpkins!
In September we all got back into our new normal routines. We were so happy to see friends that had been away, and we met some new friends! The Easter bunny came to the centre last night! He left treats for everyone with a note saying he took extra care when packaging everything! He washed his paws and wore gloves just to be safe! Teachers will be out delivering the treats today and tomorrow and are also taking extra precautions, like wearing gloves! Please send a message or call us if your address has changed! We miss you all and can't wait to be together again! Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy!

Good Afternoon Everyone! Thank you to all of you that have phoned or messaged and voiced your concerns about us here in the trenches! We are all well and surviving on humour, coffee, and way too many treats! We are open and plan on remaining open until the Government mandates us to close or if there is a confirmed case of covid 19 associated with families of the Centre. We are continuing to take precautions with extra handwashing, and trying to maintain a healthy environmen...t. We appreciate those that have been able to stay home and or voluntarily self isolate with their children, as this allows families who work for essential services to continue assisting those who need it while we provide care for their children. To our past and present daycare family we send you all an air hug, from a socially acceptable distance Stay well! Lots of love! See more
Due to the Leprechaun's lucky travels, we assume he is self-quarantining! We will be postponing our Leprechaun day until further notice!
