WHAT A WAY TO CLOSE OUR 2020 HONEY SEASON. One of the last apiaries we had to move back to our farm and we couldn’t due the rainy weather, was visited by very hungry and honey vicious bear, destroyed several small colonies we were planning to winterize in single, all our doubles were strapped tight and ready to be moved, some few were flipped and the rest standing with zero damage, glad to have them all back home now and ready to sleep.

Slow but steady...., what a great feeling and motivation to see your plans become reality, planting Melilotus Officinalis (sweet clover) to feed our bees as a backup in our Honey Farm was an idea we had for years, not just to provide nectar, but also as an amazing natural way to put Nitrogen into the soil (green manure), ...and even more, tonight around 9pm we witnessed the impact these flowers are making to our native bees by seeing hundreds of bumblebees gathering nectar and having their pollen baskets all filled that late in the day! #PursueYourGoals
