Club 200 15.12.2020

Merry Christmas to all our Club 200 friends and family! We hope everyone has a safe and healthy holiday and New Year! See you all soon!!!

Club 200 11.12.2020

The last several days we have had a lot of folks calling, messaging and reaching out to Joel and me at the Club. Most are contacting us to find out how we are making out and if we have any updates on when we may re-open. Some have been asking us what is going on with annual events, and how our entertainers and staff are coping. It made me realize that I should probably give you all a little update from us! Like many other people and businesses, the last year has been a dif...ficult and trying one to say the least! For us here at the Club we have be fortunate to not have anyone in our bubble contract or fall ill from Covid -19 and we sincerely hope that all of you are safe and have remained healthy through out this pandemic. For those of you who haven’t or have loved ones that are affected by this we wish you a speedy and complete recovery. When we may re-open isn’t an easy or simple situation. The current Code Red restrictions end on December 12th but we are anticipating an extension of those restrictions to take us into the New Year. We will wait for the latest information and public health announcements and follow the guidance for re-opening, whenever that is, and we feel that we can do it safely. One thing is for certain we will open again soon, and we will be ready when the time comes! Keep up to date on our social media and at www.club200.ca Usually around this time of year we are getting ready for the holidays and welcoming a new Miss Club 200. Unfortunately, we have had to decide whether to cancel or postpone this year’s pageant and how we would handle our current Miss Club 200’s reign. After consulting with the Miss Club 200 Alumni, Joel and I have decided to cancel this years Pageant and allow Prairie Sky to continue to reign once we are able to do so safely with the next pageant and step down taking place in November 2021. We have also missed several other annual events like our annual Toy and Food Drive, Tots, Tummies & Toys. You can help fill that void by donating to any number of charities in the community that could use our help right now. So, if you can please think about our community groups that work so hard everyday to help those that need it. On a happier note if you’re looking for a great gift and a way to support the Club while we wait to reopen - we now have re-usable and reloadable branded gift cards in any denomination you need! Order by contacting us at [email protected] or try calling 204 943 6045 and leave a message if we aren’t in the office and we will get back to you ASAP. See you all soon and stay healthy!!!

Update... I wish I had better news...however the Club is currently closed due to an unfair, unscientific (this order specifically) and problematic decision by our Provincial Health Authority, The Manitoba Liquor, Cannabis, and Gaming Authority, and Premier Pallister office. I know many of our customers and friends are confused so I will attempt to explain it to you all so you can judge for yourself if these authorities are acting in your best health interests or simply play...Continue reading

Update... Today the provincial government announced that they would be moving to add more restrictions and guidelines to the WInnipeg area as of Monday, October 19, 2020. The measures include the closing of bars, nightclubs, casinos, etc. However, restaurants will still be allowed to open at 50% capacity and following all protocols and guidelines provided by provincial health officials. These changes will still allow for Club 200 to be open from 4PM to 10PM daily. Some o...f may know or if you don't know, Club 200 is licensed as a restaurant and we also operate as a catering company from the kitchen, Big Deal Catering, since 2011. Since 1988 we have always served a full menu (attached below) and all items on our entire menu is available for take out or curb side pick up when we are open. Call us (204) 943-6045 to place an order. Try something new...the cooks are doing an amazing job back there and you won't be disappointed!!! We would also like to let everyone know that we respect and are following ALL protocols put in place by the public health officials. The staff are constantly on top of cleaning, sanitizing the space and enforcing the rules. That being said, some folks are not comfortable coming out and we respect that and understand 100% - we will be here for you when you are ready. For those in the community who want to come out and support us be assured that we are doing everything we can to keep you safe. Normally we wouldn't share our health inspection on social media but I am proud of the work our staff and management has done to do our very best to keep folks safe when here at the Club. This is a direct quote from our inspection report dated October 2, 2020 "Facility Type: Restaurant Inspection Type: Routine Inspection Reasons: Unannounced Risk Rating: Moderate Inspection Report Pursuant to Manitoba Regulation 339/88R COVID-19 CHECK All COVID protocols in place - signage, sanitizer, information given to patrons, contact information taken from a representative at each table group to aid in tracing, no dancing, physical distancing in place, masks in use, etc. The owner has shown extreme due diligence with all requirements, has taken additional precautions and put extra measures in place to ensure guest and employee safety onsite. Chef Tara and Bartender Anita onsite." Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions. Stay safe, stay healthy, and together our community will get through this. Take care of each other and follow the rules!!!
