Long post alert I’ve already use this picture for a post before but today, more than ever, i want to share this with you to tell you that carbs are not your e...nemy. On the left, in 2015 working out 7 days a week and in pretty good shape. This picture was,in fact, taken at the @crossfitgames . BUT afraid to eat, afraid of carbs and afraid of rest days. Recovering for some eating disorder and convincing myself that my body will explodes by eating more or that i will gain 10 pounds by taking a rest day. On the right, last week and still in pretty good shape. Getting ready for my 9th @crossfit Open. Taking one complete rest day every week (a real one not running an easy 10k). Eating to perform and giving my body the right amount of food to recover from the hours of work im putting every week. With the help of my nutrition coach @mike_m2pn from @m2performancenutrition who still check in with me multiple times a week. I am so thankful for having him in my life since 2018. FACT: There’s only 2 pounds difference in those two pictures but on the right i am eating an EXTRA 1600 calories and an EXTRA 300g of carbs everyday. This is simply a reminder to let people know that whatever your fitness level your training volume or activity level, your body and your brain need foods ans carbs to support your daily life. Of course the amount of food will not be the same as a full time athlete but everyone needs to fuel their body properly. Nobody should be hungry all day or go to bed starving.

Les cours privés et la pratique libre sont interdits. Les seuls autres athlètes qui peuvent continuer l'entraînement sont les athlètes Excellences en préparation pour les Olympiques et leurs partenaires d'entraînement déjà accrédités. See more

*Avis d’intérêt publique* Suite à la rencontre avec la santé publique: Nous avons l'immense plaisir de vous annoncer que l’approche des centre d’arts martiaux... Kaizen concernant les entraînements de type privés ainsi que les entraînements libres, est homologué par la santé publique. Depuis l'annonce que notre région est en zone rouge, nous avons toujours su respecter les règles et offrir un entraînement sécuritaire. Avoir le ok de la santé publique nous enlève un stresse immense sur les épaules et ainsi que sur les épaules de nos membres. Alors il ne reste plus qu’à vous dire bienvenue et bon entraînement!
