----------------------------------------------------- Incendie Hudson Fire Captains Adrian and Shane Bonnemayers, stopped by Whitlock Golf and Country Club yesterday to pick up the gifts our members generously donated for the Annual Christmas Drive. The goal is to provide a new toy to children in the Hudson and surrounding areas who may not otherwise receive a gift. Thank you to all our members and staff who donated!

Please help spread the word! ''Nathalie and I are reaching out to the Whitlock community today as parents of a young boy struggling in the public schools system, wondering if some of you might relate. Our son Jake is 12. He is a loving, gifted and compassionate boy who has been drowning in the public school system since the age of 5. The years have worn away at his confidence, his learning, and his ability to relate to his peers. And so we come to you, potentially a parent o...f a child with a similar experience, with an idea to make a difference in our small community of Hudson. In our search for an out-of-the-box educational experience for Jake, it dawned on us that many parents may be looking for the same. And so we started to dream a little- imagine a Village School House where half a dozen kids come to learn each day in an environment supported by technology, nature and stimulating activities. Where one or two qualified and passionate teachers design a curriculum that meets the Ministry requirements and beyond, offering a safe place to enrich minds. Specialized schools are either very expensive, too far or not accepting new students. There are few options for boys and girls like Jake. And we want to change that. Now. If you share our vision for an alternative way to educate children who struggle in the public system join us for a brainstorming session to open a Village School House that will transform your child's experience of learning. Date and time to be determined. Email us for details at: [email protected] We have the power to make a difference. This is a non-profit initiative purely for the children in our community who deserve a different educational experience. Sincerely, Nathalie and Andrew''
