Dear patients, We are slowly reopening our office this week to begin treating emergency cases. We ask for your patience as we triage cases over the last 3 months. We will contact you as soon as possible to book an appointment ... Please read the following important information concerning your next visit with us: Our office has always followed strict infection control standards and in order to keep us all protected during the pandemic, we have updated our protocols as follows: 1) We will be asking pre-screening questions before your appointment as well as when you arrive to the office. If you answer YES to any of these questions, please notify us immediately. There will also be a COVID consent form to sign. 2) You will be asked to notify us you have arrived outside our office, and we will advise you when you can enter. Please come to your appointment alone unless you need assistance. The number of people in the waiting room has to be minimal. 3) Please wear a mask to your visit. If you do not have one, we will provide one for you. 4) Your temperature will be taken and recorded at the screening station and you will be using a hand sanitizer before and after your appointment. 5) You will be given a pre-procedural rinse of 1% hydrogen peroxide prior to your appointment. Other changes that you will notice: 6) Restricted use of the waiting room and washroom to prevent spread of the virus. Coffee machines, magazines, and toys have been removed. 7) Spaced out appointments between patients to facilitate social distancing and fewer operating rooms in use. 8)Shorter hygiene appointments (45 minutes) limited to hand scaling and no polish to minimize production of dental aerosols. 9) Treatment initially will be limited to non-aerosol generating procedures (involving drilling) unless absolutely urgent. 10) Your dental team will be wearing more protective gear (masks, faceshields, and gowns) but rest assured, it is still us underneath it all! These procedures are designed to create the safest environment for you, other patients, and our team. We look forward to seeing you again! Thanks for your patience and loyalty throughout this ordeal. Dear Clyde Dental Patients, We wanted to check in with you and let you all know that we are thinking of you and your families. It has been a very trying time for everyone and we sincerely hope that you are all safe and healthy. For the past 11 weeks, we have been following the directive of our licensing body, the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, recommending suspension of all non-essential dental treatment. Some of these restrictions have been lifting slowly in o...ur province. You may have heard or seen in the media that dental offices are now allowed to reopen. However, this will be dependent on the availability of PPE (personal protective equipment) at the current time. Once we are able to procure the proper PPE, we will be able to resume slowly booking our patients. These appointments will be booked after initial pre-screening for COVID. You may notice potential changes to our office set-up as we return to the new normal. We want to assure you that your health and safety, and that of our staff, is our top priority. Your dental visits may look and feel a bit different in the future but together, we will get through the challenges of these adjustments while this pandemic is still on going. As before, if during this period you have any dental issues, questions, or concerns, please reach out to us via email (preferred method) or leave a voicemail message and we will provide you with guidance. We will be in touch with you once we are ready to open and will inform you of the next steps at that time. Priority will be given to our patients who have had dental emergencies during these last few weeks and could not be assessed in person. These are challenging times for everyone. Attn: Office closure continues Hello friends and patients, We still remain closed for all routine and non- essential services. We all must do our part to keep everyone safe! We will update you with any changes as further information becomes available over time. Until then, be well and stay safe.

ATTN: Temporary office closure Dear Patients, We received notification from our licensing body, the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, on March 15, 2020 strongly recommending suspension of all non-essential dental treatment. All routine appointments for new patient exams, hygiene, and fillings are cancelled for now. We will be in touch with you via email to reschedule ... As of now, our College has put this in effect till the first week of April. We are monitoring this situation closely and will update you with any changes. If during this period you experience a dental emergency, please reach out to us via email immediately. We should be able to make arrangements to either see you in person or guide you through the next steps via phone and/or email. These are challenging times for everyone.
