Hello from CMarieRMT Today’s Public Health Update has extended our Alert Level 5 for another two weeks. Our regulatory college, the CMTNL has advised those RMTs within the Avalon to remain closed, unless they have clients meeting the criteria of Urgent or Emergency care. Please take a moment to review the following PDFs regarding upcoming sessions during March 2021.... Once you have reviewed them, please reply to me via text (709-746-5584) email ([email protected]) or via private message to confirm your intentions: OPTION 1: We can continue with your session should you feel you meet the urgent criteria. OPTION 2: We cancel your upcoming session and proactively look ahead to schedule a tentative session after March 12th. OPTION 3: We cancel your upcoming session and wait until Alert Level 4 before rescheduling. As will all options, we also have the ability to set up a virtual session by which we can discuss your home care options and I can lead you through some exercises, stretches and/or movements to hold you over until we can see you in clinic. These sessions would be at a cost of $25 and would be billed as a virtual massage therapy session. We can weather this storm together, and kick COVID-19 in the arse! Stay safe! CMarieRMT
Just finished a quick 20:21 yoga reboot podcast. Breathing, gentle spine movements, and subtle torso twists. With all these abrupt changes we are currently encountering the metaphorical weight of anxiety and stress can feel as if there’s an elephant sitting on your chest. The guided breathing and subtle movements helped to ease that sensation for me.... Each podcast is 15-20mins long... today’s choice was 15mins. I opted to stay and add a few more breathing techniques. When I stopped my Garmin, it read 20mins21secs... considered it a sign from the universe that I was in the right spot Free and accessible through the ipodcast app with apple products as well as online via yogadownload.com.
Took the option to Rest Yesterday with a full schedule of events. So Day 3 of The Wanderlust 10-Day Yoga Challenge: Recruit the Glutes happens before my day does today. The Early Yogi gets the Glutes and the quiet, calm living room Good one! Link in the comments
Day 2 of the Wanderlust 10-Day Yoga Challenge was all about Shoulder Stability. I learned two really neat wrist release exercises. They felt ah-maze-big!! It’s a free challenge if you want to join. I will post the link in the comments below.
Day 1 of a 10 day Yoga Challenge from a wonderfully informative and amazing group, Wanderlust! Today’s session was a Core focus, filled with great information and tips on how to properly engage the entire core, from the Diaphragm to the transverse abdominus and the pelvic floor.
