Students where shown the fundamentals and ...basic techniques to safely install small canopies or containments. Hands on training with our instructors offering Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced classes will allow your company to offer more to your clients. CMAW Local 1995 is seeking Carpenters and Apprentice Carpenters for two seperate locations. Locations are by Burquitlam and SFU University in Surrey. Applicant should be competent, reliable, and hard working. Wages will vary depending on experience, but are typically $21/hr for a first year apprentice and $36/hr for a journeyperson with 4 or more years of experience). Wages include the 12% holiday pay. There are many perks one will receive working with us. Some of those p...erks are: Dental Coverage Life Insurance Sick Benefit Wage Indemnity Physiotherapy Massage Therapy Chiropractor Vision Care Benefits Prescription Drug Coverage ($1,000,000 lifetime coverage) (The benefits are covered at 85%). So besides the wages and benefits, for every hour a worker works, $4.09/hour gets contributed to their pension. After 10 years of contributing to your CMAW pension, this will work out to $1100/month once you turn 65. After 20 years of service, this would equal $2200/month. Your benefits and pension are paid for by your employer. Nothing comes out of your pocket. What you earn per hour stays in your pocket. There is a $25/month membership dues (this is tax deductible).
