THANK YOU!!! White Le-Blanc Wealth Planners HollisWealth donated $5000 to CMHA Kootenays Anderson Gardens in Nelson, which made the Blue Heron Monoprint Project come alive. Seven artists from Anderson Gardens gathered to create ink black art with an emphasis on social justice. This group of seniors are ‘house mates’ in a low income supported housing building whose population is overwhelmingly artistic by nature and ready to start producing works.... https://kootenays.cmha.bc.ca//donation-from-white-le-blan/
Did you register for #CNOY21 over the weekend? If so - you're awesome! (If not, don't worry, you're awesome too ) Now that you've signed up, here are some qui...ck steps to get you going.. Make the First Donation: Build momentum by being your first donor. Get some of your own skin in the fundraising game! Personalize your Fundhub Page: Your people don’t want to read our boring generic CNOY page (yawn), they want to see a picture of you, read what you’re doing, and why you’re doing it. Ignite a fundraising spark by letting your donors know why you’re passionate about your charity and your cause. Start Your Fundraising Now: No really, now! You could wait, but our stats show that those who fundraise early raise 2-3 times more than those who start in February. Got questions? Let us know in the comments - we're happy to help!

The Impact of Personal Hygiene on Mental Health When someone is coping with a mental-health issue, it may be difficult for them to keep up with activities of daily living, including maintaining personal hygiene. This video compassionately discusses the importance of self-care and provides helpful tips. ... Breaking down these daily tasks and setting reminders to do things like shower, shave, and apply deodorant can help. And remembering to acknowledge and celebrate when each goal is met can help those going through a difficult period overcome the tendency towards self-neglect. https://my.happify.com//the-impact-of-personal-hygiene-o/

And often, we're not able to fully understand the psychological effect it can have on our life. But if we become aware of what happens to our brain after a traumatic experience like this, we can take steps to recover more quickly and bounce back stronger than ever. https://my.happify.com//how-a-job-loss-affects-our-menta/
