December From December 1-15 anyone can choose to donate a package of new socks, or a pair of new slippers (preferably with grips on the bottom) in exchange for $20 off their visit. Items must be brand new, tags etc still on... All donations will be taken to Good Samaritan Society Magrath, and Raymond sites to be distributed to seniors who may be lacking such supplies! In the spirit of COVID all items will be kept in a bag at the office for a period of time prior to being taken to the sites for distribution. Thanks all

Pandemic updates: How has the pandemic effected our small business this year? -Mandatory closure for almost 2 months ... -Added guidelines for reopening -Added costs to regular supplies -Scheduling challenges with restrictions on our site visits and limiting any risk of site to site transmission As nurses we follow all guidelines and regulations as closely as possible, and keep the most up to date information possible to run the business smoothly. In order to help us do this, our clients have: -Rescheduled appointments if feeling unwell -Postponed appointments if feeling uncomfortable with the current statistics of rising numbers in our area if they do not require urgent care -Diligently worn masks to appointments or in their home when we arrive -Used extra safety measures to reduce the spread of germs such as using supplied hand sanitizer, or choosing e transfer as a payment method to reduce the exchange of handled items. Securing our routinely required PPE, along with added sanitizer products from extra cleaning requirements and due diligence has been a large challenge this year. As an example of added costs related to supply shortages: Pre pandemic: Level 3 medical masks- $20/box no limit Gloves- $28/box no limit Pandemic: Level 3 medical masks- $30/box limits and back orders constantly Gloves- $40/box sold out for months, now on restricted 1-2/order when available While we await the updates today in Alberta, I wanted to take time to thank all the families and clients for their kindness and understanding while our world changes daily. We have been fortunate to not pass on any added costs to clients at this time, and I have been very thankful for that. Please continue to stay safe everyone

We are booking into the second week of November already! Please try to make your follow up appointments at the end of each appointment, or phone at least 1-2 weeks ahead of time if possible!
