Recognizing the uncertainty of COVID-19 transmission rates, Softball BC is committed to putting on the safest championships possible by following the guidelines set forth by the Provincial Health Authority and viaSport. Softball BC reserves the right to make changes to dates, locations and fulfilment of these Championships at anytime. Our member’s health and safety is, as always, our first priority and will guide us as we strive to provide our members a softball season including championships at all levels. All Covid-19 safety protocols and processes will be in place for all Softball BC Championships. More details will be posted as they become available on the planning and execution of these events. 2020 was quite the year...so you know what we need to do for 2021? We need to welcome in the New Year with everyone's help! So we thought why not let the players do it!?! Here's what we need, send us a video either by sending a DM, reply to our post on our socials, tag us, whatever you gotta do -- then on New Year's we will post a montage on our socials, wishing everyone a Happy New Year! Be creative, proudly wear your uniform, show your colours, show your skills, do a Zoom call, whatever you do, let's ring in 2021 right!

On Sunday, November 8, 2020 our district was moved back to Inning One as per direction of Softball BC. As of Friday, November 20, we still remain in Inning One. Based on the recent directives from the Provincial Health Authority all teams that are continuing to practice indoor or outdoor must continue to adhere to all posted guidelines.... For Indoor: - If a team is ahead of you please wait until they have cleared out before you enter the facility - Attendance tracking must be done and submitted to Sharon, our Vice-President - Masks to be worn in and out of the facility - Equipment and high touch areas to be sanitized before and after activities - Handwashing protocols to be followed - Players, coaches, and one volunteer only. No spectators. - Drills only. No games, no scrimmages For Outdoor: - If a team is ahead of you please wait until they have cleared out before you enter the facility - Attendance tracking must be done and submitted to Sharon, our Vice-President - Masks to be worn where social distancing is not possible - Equipment and high touch areas to be sanitized before and after activities - Handwashing protocols to be followed - Players, coaches, and one volunteer only.
