This is Trail of Manifesting Optimism another addition to the Crystal Art series. When creating this piece, the first thing that came to mind when studying the Aventurine stone was envisioning a forest with bright green colours that were deep in different vegetation and biomes. The stone embraces the feelings of luck, optimism, and revitalization so the main idea was to make this piece refreshing and keeping to the green characteristics of Aventurine. I titled this piece, T...rail of Manifesting Optimism because this is a journey of change to living life in optimism, it is not a marathon but a journey that will transform you. To me, the forest brings off refreshing feelings and can get lost in a new world and clear your mind of everything. This is Balance within the Changing World another addition to the Crystal Art series. When creating this piece, the first thing that came to mind when studying the Black Onyx stone was envisioning a night sky that was filled with lights such as lanterns and sparklers. The stone made me think of the Ying and Yang symbol because of the stone's colour scheme. I knew this piece was going to have an Asian vibe to it. After researching the stone, it connects with the concept of Yin...g and Yang, it helps to restore balance in work life and personal life. I titled this piece, Balance within the Changing World because this pandemic has knocked us off balance and we are trying to find a way to ground ourselves and restore what was disrupted. Not just the pandemic but any situation or stressful lifestyle can affect our balance, this is where we as humans need to understand the power of masculine and feminine energy, these two are like positive and negative energy in a battery. If we don't balance our masculine energy (our hardworking focus side) and our feminine energy (playful and relaxing side) we will feel unstable both mentally and physically. This stone enforces strength and stamina to allow us to let go of the past or any negative energy we are carrying in our bodies. This art piece spreads awareness about letting go of the things that don't serve us nor bring us joy and to keep the ones you have connections with and spark joy.

Sharing my design process behind Courageous Underneath. When creating this piece, the first things that came to mind when studying the Tiger's eye stone was hieroglyphics, Egypt, the forest, sand, wood textures, bamboo, the human eye, ancient ruin structures, tiger, eye of Horus, and sand art. I titled this piece, Courageous Underneath because I believe that all of us carry a personal power but we keep it contained within ourselves as we are afraid to show it as we are not comfortable in our skin. This piece encourages all of us to stay true to ourselves and let your power shine because it's what makes you unique. This emphasis on the third eye in this piece conveys that we need to activate our inner spirit to unlock our true potential.

My design process behind Positive Bloom, I studied the Citrine stone and thought about what came to mind when looking at the stone, which was sunflowers, the sunrise along with picturing warm sand. I was inspired by the sunrise, the dawn sky, and beaches because of the colour schemes and the feeling of warmth it brings. I always loved the beach and watching the sunrise, it's peaceful and it clears my mind of any noise in my head. Blowing sand was another element I was inspir...ed by because of the designs it made in the sand but it also brought a good sense of direction in terms of messaging that I wanted to convey. Through my studies on Citrine, the sunflower came to mind and what they do when they grow and blossom. Sunflower turn towards the sun when they open up, they are always turning towards the light. For me, I believe this is a metaphor to us, humans, even in darkness we need to find the light in the darkness and turn towards the light with optimism. Especially during this pandemic, we need to continue living positively and work on keeping our aura energy strong. I titled this piece, Positive Bloom, because during this pandemic people are struggling to stay positive. This piece is a kind reminder that we are in this together and to refer back to nature if you need healing. We need to be the sunflower, keep turning towards the light even in the time of darkness, and to keep taking care of ourselves through drinking lots of water, getting the proper rest, eating well, and journaling to keep your aura strong.
