Over the last couple of months, we have been asked to certify other people’s work for safety of a vehicle. We have found numerous faults with work that had been done by someone in a Corunna doing work from his back yard. We have found soup cans replacing exhaust systems, brake pads being shave off to fit cradles, parts not being bolted in correctly, has gas tanks held up by wires, axles not being fitted correctly, rotors shaved down below legal specs, the list goes on and on.... We will no longer issue safety for work that is not done by our shop. If you get the $10 an hour guy from Corunna to do the work ask him for safety. We are an insured legitimate shop that will not put soup cans for exhaust or put sub par parts on any vehicle. Please also be advised your car insurance will be nul and void if you have an accident following this kind of back yard work. We will also report all these $10 an guys to both the ministry of transportation and revenue canada, for class action against them period. Covid 19 has hit us all. But we must keep paying our bills. The $10 an hour friend is taking your money and taking zero responsibilities for you or your families safety.
