As we approach the end of another successful year, we are sending Best Wishes to Hardy Griesbauer, Director of AR&I, as he moves on to his next great adventure working as a Research Silvicultural Ecologist with the BC Ministry of Forests. "[Hardy] is extremely visionary on where he wants to take research", states Richard Reich during Hardy's surprise going-away function held in the AR&I office Thursday afternoon. Hardy has been a valuable member of the AR&I team. When refer...red to as the "boss", he quickly corrects you as he believes that this department is truly a team of inspired, intellectual individuals. My work at CNC over the past six years has been very rewarding and exciting, he states. I am grateful for the opportunity to have worked with so many fantastic people and to have made a contribution to the success of our students. I will look back on my time here fondly and wish everyone the best in the future. We wish you the best and thank you for all your contributions over the years!
