While we are waiting for life to get back to normal, you can create your own quilt show in your sewing room. The blocks with the lettering and the mandalas use the Modern Farmhouse panel so there is no applique except for the roof and upper windows of the farmhouse. Pattern No. 4 of 8 for my new Modern Farmhouse fabric line for @clothworkswa. This pattern is called Farmhouse Runners. Most of the patterns that I have designed for this line use a portion of the panel. This pattern incorporates the remaining pieces of the panel so that you can get the most value out of your fabric. The center runner is 74" long and the top and bottom runners are 54" long. I couldn't resist adding the little birds so there is a little bit of applique in... two of the projects. Just finished these two samples featuring @kathyschmitzstitches newest fabric line Maryland due out in February next year. I love this line and the modern edge to this pattern which includes instructions for the lap quilt and table runner. I am in love with this sample I just finished using Kathy Schmitz's newest fabric line "Maryland". "My Baltimore" measures 51" x 60". The center is made from 4 panels featuring @kathyschmitzstitches amazing artwork so all the hard work is done. The black scallops are appliqued on the border. I used fusible applique which I secured with a machine applique stitch (looks like a wider spread blanket stitch) The pattern includes instructions to make the same quilt using the black and whole wheat panels.
