PROTECT YOUR ENERGY I have been having alot of inner conversations with myself on how I can feel the most energy and peace of mind that is possible during this current social climate. To be honest, everything has been feeling heavy lately. ... Some days it feels like I am trudging through quicksand because my body is physically tired. Or My mind feels bogged down with thoughts/ concerns about the future like any other person who struggles with anxiety would have! Or I feel completely fine. Not normal just fine. I know I am not alone in these feelings because times are tough right now for everyone in some way! I think that is why now more than ever it is important that we are showing up for ourselves, setting boundaries with people, things and social media and making sure we are taking care of ourselves first and foremost!! This is the only way to protect the energy you currently have, day to day. I also think it is important to NOT make assumptions about how other people are doing. Everyone copes with situations in their life differently. So be kind, reach out to them or don't take their absence of normality, personally. Most of the time it's not about you. Anyways I hope all of you beautiful humans are staying hopeful, setting boundaries, protecting your energy in the ways you can and doing the best that you can day to day no matter what your best may look like that day. We are all in this together. Drop a down below. Let's show each other some love and kindness. @ Lethbridge, Alberta See more

NATURE I have been finding myself craving to be surrounded by nature. From the weekend hikes we have been going from to just spending time with my plants in my garden I am constantly reminded how meditative and comforting being in nature is to me. During this pandemic I would take long walks in the coulees or to local parks in order to cope with so much indoor alone time. ... It is the silent moments of being surrounded by so much life that my heart is most at peace. My anxiety that I struggle with daily subsides, my breathes grew deeper and more drawn out and my stress levels decrease. We are in a strange new world that can feel hard to navigate. I hope you have found something that gives you peace. What has helped you cope with 2020? See more
