Early on, I learned that the more control I have over using social media, the more I can live my life free from society's standards. In contradiction, running a business is hard because I feel pressure from myself to create content that my community can benefit from. The thing is I am the business. I have to care for myself socially before I can care for others, and this has been the steepest learning curve for me as a coach. One thing I am trying to model is the choi...ce to invest in health whether it is mental, social, or physical. The better a body is taken care of, the more it can productively function. It's not easy to make changed, but once it's done, I realized I get a whole new perspective on how I want to live and how I want to coach. #rondeauprovincialpark #rondeau #exploreontario

In times of change, our brains and bodies need a chance to process all the information. Extreme change can be overwhelming whether we are good at adapting or not. I thought going back to my normal lifestyle would be easy after a 2-week online residency while working. Lakeshore, ON This was not true. My body thought it was exhausted. I ended up sleeping 11 hours one of the days during the week and couldn't bring myself to exercise because I was physically exhausted. I love the statement "I want to be my own boss" because the idea of leadership is empowering. Starting my business was one of my favourite learning experiences, but I learned that it requires much discipline. As a boss, I can take advantage of my skills to pursue different career opportunities that can benefit my community. So...what's it like?
