Doing our part during this #NYE and celebrating the new year celebration with World Junior Hockey (ps. Canada won) and them a Teams call across the city, with a special guest from Calgary (@gbruinoo ). Not quite the same as in person, buta pretty good substitute including snacks, drinks and Trivial Pursuit! PS a fish hook does not have a tooth. My bad.

Well this is happening!! An all day baking event. Across the country. We are making a double batch, plus a gluten free option and @gbruinoo is making his first ever batch. Mutiple Team calls, multiple screeb shares, and 2 trips to the grocery store for @gbruinoo (for supplies). And he needs a deep pot for his birthday

Getting crafty with my super soft @sugarbushyarns. Almost completed my winter bliss mittens.....but now I am out of yarn and missing a thumb. My Canadian online yarn store is out of stock. Can anyone help a crafter put? @mjsoffthehook I love the pattern! Hoping to tackle the herringbone twist ear warmer kit next.

Getting excited for Christmas at home! Decorations up, in a reduced fashion, as no parties to share them at. Reaching out virtually is where we are focussing, as well as making time for quiet meals, with special recipes. Planning on zoom and team calls with all the family members I can. And slowing down to absorb the reason for the season. Stay safe and healthy. We are not through this season just yet. There are still loved ones getting sick and even dying from COVID-19. Doing my part means doing the hard work and staying home.
