Our neighbours have come for a visit!

Good Morning It was a really nice drive up the highway on Friday. Saw some animals along the way. Just before we arrived at Coal River I spotted a fresh born bison calf along the ditch and several very pregnant mothers. Spring babies! Our phone 250-776-7306 isn’t working, no dial tone and it doesn’t ring through. NWT tells me they can’t get down to fix it till mid May. If you have to call use 250-776-7307. It only rings in restaurant so call in daytime. Or email me as my internet is going Have a good day!

Hi everyone What a tough way to begin a new year! We are going up to Coal River May 1st to open for 2020 season. It might not be very busy to start with but we will be there to assist you with your travel. Fuel will be available and RV park will be open on May 3. The restaurant and Motel will take most of the week to get put together as that is a big job! We will have lots of Bison burgers for everyone, takeout meals if we can’t seat people yet in restaurant. Make it work! Keep a safe distance from others! Looking forward to the season and lots of visitors traveling along the Alaska Hwy.

Thank you to everyone who stopped in this year, we had a wonderful season. We have closed for the 2019 season and will be back in May 2020. Have a wonderful winter and we look forward to seeing you in the new year.

Good morning to another beautiful day! Winter weather is almost gone. We are busy preparing for another season to begin May 2019. Thank you to the people who have called and made reservations already. As many know the Alaska Highway is a gorgeous drive! I have had fun shopping - Stop in to see our Gift Shop with lots of new items, ladies clothing, t shirts. We will serve breakfast all day and have delicious 100% Bison burgers on our menu as always. I have made lots of fresh jams, jellies and chocolates for everyone to enjoy. Looking forward to another great season!

Hi Friends We are leaving May 1st to open Coal River for 2018 We are looking forward to another great season. Snow is gone and the temp is in double digits up there! Drop in for a visit.
