Hello Coaldale MB Church, It is a season of transition. Daron is done. Joe has started. Hannah is done. We are interviewing for her position. School is starting. And we have relaunched in-person services. Further we are exploring other means to live on mission and bear witness of Christ. In all of life and seasons we go through be reminded that the Lord Jesus Christ is on the throne. The Holy Spirit is actively, not passively, but actively providing what we need. As so many ...of the daily devotionals Leona has been sharing on our Coaldale MB Church Facebook page have been about we need to learn to abide in him and to receive what he is providing. Scripture and prayer, serving and obeying and growing relationships (fellowship) are foundational ways he meets with us and provides for us. Be intentional about drinking deeply of the water of life. The fall series is called Response--Able. Whatever we face in life we can react to it or choose a godly response. As part of this series we want to hear from our church family what they have experienced these past months. What has influenced you to choose the responses you have? What have the challenges and successes been? Please contact Pastor Gary if you are willing to share part of the journey you or your family have been on. Pray for:Marcia Janzen and family dealing with the sudden passing of Laureen, Marcia's sister. Bonnie Chartier's mom (Katie) who is in hospital. Rudy Heidebrecht as he has suffered another stroke. Margaret Wall and Anne Nikkel in their ongoing medical journeys. Youth ministry programs did not take a break during the summer but are suspending programs until October. Youth leaders need a break and students are reengaging in school. More info to come about October and beyond. Childrens and Student ministries. We had one meeting so far exploring how we can minister to our younger generations and will continue to evaluate how we make disciples. We are working on a survey specifically to hear from families. Seniors ministry and visitation is more challenging. We are in dialogue with Sunny South Lodge about creative and meaningful ways to serve those who reside there.
