Coalhurst High School

Once again, our school will be encouraging students to take part in the annual Canadian Legion Remembrance Day contest. Categories include a colour poster, a black & white poster, a poem, and/or a short essay. Cash prizes are available, and student entries can go beyond our local community to zone, provincial, and national representation. The intent of the contest is to ensure our youth never forget the sacrifices and service of those who came before them for the cause of freedom, particularly in times of war. Students can enter one or all of the contests but require a signed permission form, available from Mr. Saad, for each entry. Parent Council meeting will be on Sept. 22 @6:30. Come participate in the AGM and stay up to date with CHS activities.

Grade 7 first day, we broke in the outdoor athletic space with a get to know the teacher quiz. Then Mrs. Swen taught us all some sick dance moves.
