Dear Dance Families, Due to the continuing government regulations on social distancing and the continued school closure, we at Coastal Dance are sorry to say that we will not be reopening our studio doors for the remainder of our Spring 2020 term. Registration for the Fall term will open June 15th.... Summer programs are also on hold until the government regulations are lifted and we stay hopeful that we can make something happen in some form during the coming months. On the eve of our 26th annual recital all of us at Coastal Dance want you to know how much we miss all our dancers and we hope you are staying connected through our Insta Gram account @coastal.dance . Many of the faculty have been busy posting wonderful links and some live online classes. We will continue to keep in touch as the weeks go on and as soon as we are able we will jump back into dance mode! Micaela Archer-Shee

Dear Coastal Dance families and friends , It is with great regret under government recommendations that I have to let you know that our CDTS In Concert show that was set for April 18 at Alderney Landing must be postponed until further notice. We know how hard this is for everyone but the health and safety of our dancers and their families must come first. We will keep you informed as the days go on. ... Micaela

Dear Dancers, I know you have been working hard toward you ballet examinations but due to the Covid-19 virus the Royal Academy Dance has just sent official word that all examinations will be suspended for the near future for the safety of all involved and they will try to reschedule at another time. Our Canadian headquarters will be in contact with us as soon as they can and we will try to make sure a solution is worked out.... In the mean time continue to stretch and work on as much of your class work as you can so that when we get back you still remember some things :O) Micaela

March 15, 2020 Due to the recent updates today from our government regarding the public schools closures, we have also made the decision to close our studio for the two weeks following this weeks March Break. We will continue to monitor the news carefully and we will reassess the situation as time goes on but we will are hoping to re open the studio Monday April 6th. We will be following the Health Authorities recommendations on this situation. We will be adding the two wee...ks missed to the end of our season in June. Please make sure you are following us on Insta Gram as we will be posting ideas for all our dancers to keep in shape and motivated.
