We were contracted to plant live stakes on the bank of the Capilano River to prevent people from climbing down the bank to fish below. There used to be stairs down the near vertical slope; however, they fell into disrepair and were removed. People were risking their safety climbing down the bank, so we were asked to plant live stakes which will grow into trees and shrubs, preventing people from climbing down.
